Every night, over 122,000 Australians experience homelessness. One quarter of these people are between the ages of 12 and 24.
In Victoria, more than 7,600 young people experience homelessness every night.
97,861 homes were empty or under-used in Melbourne in 2024. Homelessness is a policy choice, not a personal choice. Homelessness doesn't discriminate.
I am sleeping at the MCG as part of a fundraiser to raise money towards ending youth homelessness. This is a preventable issue, and with your support, we can make a contribution to end youth homelessness.
